Very tall, shallow, narrow antique pine glazed display cabinet or book case made in the 1920s probably. A single large door with two big panes of glass opens onto five shelves. Brass knob and a turn catch. Cornice above and plinth below. There are slots where further shelves used to be; perhaps they could be utilised again but it might be tricky. Certainly some more shelves could be added if screwed or pinned through the sides. Condition is pretty good structurally: it's solid and sound; there are some small gaps between some of the back boards; some old woodworm in places, long gone but we've treated it for good measure anyway. It had caused a little bit of damage under the bottom left front corner, nothing serious though (see pics). Cosmetically there are various dings, scuffs and marks due to age; not much really. All in keeping with a country pine piece of this vintage.. PLEASE NOTE: like any piece this tall, you'll need to secure it to the wall, especially as it has a glass door; it absolutely will fall forward when the door is open.
